Heating Service Engineer

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a well-established mechanical services company in Bristol. This role offers the chance to work independently across commercial, industrial, and some domestic sites, maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault finding, maintenance, and repairs on gas, LPG, and oil systems
• Perform annual servicing for commercial and domestic clients
• Work independently across multiple sites, managing your own schedule
• Ensure all work meets current health, safety, and compliance standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in a heating/plumbing service engineer role
• Qualified in commercial and domestic natural gas
• LPG and oil experience is a plus
• Hold a CSCS card and full UK driving licence
• Fit and able to carry out physical work
• Eligible for an enhanced DBS check

Ideal Qualifications

• Commercial gas: CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1, CODNC01, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A
• Domestic gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, MET1
• LPG: CONGL1PD
• Oil: OFTEC 101, 105E, 600a
• Plumbing/Heating: HWSS (incl. G3)
