Job Title: Engineering Project Manager Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per weekFlexi-time Location: Hereford
This is a key role responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects across the business, with a particular focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change (EC) processes within a manufacturing environment.
As the Engineering Project Manager, you will act as the primary customer‑facing engineering representative, ensuring projects are delivered on time while maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver engineering projects in line with agreed timelines, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful introduction of new products into production.
- Manage the Engineering Change process, including reviewing, approving and implementing engineering changes across the organisation.
- Project manage tool repair and modification activities, maintaining communication with both internal teams and customers.
- Act as the main customer‑facing engineering contact for NPI programmes, engineering changes and tooling activities.
- Work closely with the Customer Account Team to ensure aligned and consistent communication with customers.
- Provide technical input and support when preparing quotations and proposals.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing engineering projects within a manufacturing or technical production environment.
- Experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change (EC) processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production constraints.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and milestones.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive progress and hold teams accountable.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 quality management systems (ISO 13485 knowledge would be advantageous).

- Monday – flex hours
- Thursday: 09:30–12:00 and 14:00–16:00
