Overview
We are currently looking for experienced Service Engineers to work for one of our clients on a permanent basis. The company is a well-respected market leader in specialist equipment for sectors including construction, energy production, process and water treatment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful organisation. Based in their modern premises in Stafford, this Service Engineers role will involve working both in the workshop and on site around the UK, which can sometimes involve nights away from home. The work will involve maintenance and installation of the company’s products.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance of the company’s products.
- Install and commission equipment to ensure it is installed and working correctly.
- Fault find, diagnose faults and rectify them as required.
- Work in the workshop and on site around the UK as needed, including occasional nights away.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Electrically and/or mechanically skilled with the ability to fault find and diagnose faults.
- Experience in a service environment is preferred.
- Essential: recognised relevant qualification.
- Experience with single phase and three phase electrical systems is preferred.
- Previous experience with diesel generators or engines is advantageous but not essential.
