Duties

• Drive the sales of trucks and commercial vehicles, including HGVs and bespoke solutions
• Build and sustain strong client relationships leveraging the client’s great local reputation
• Identify new sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring high customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, vehicle specifications, and competitor activities
• Attend trade shows and networking events to expand the client base

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales, particularly within the truck or HGV sector
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Customer-centric approach with proactive sales ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving licence
• Knowledge of heavy goods vehicles or plant machinery is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
• Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets
