Job Description The successful applicant will be responsible for new client implementations, delivering value-added services and supporting existing Xmon & Submarine clients. Xmon is the market leading reference data cost & usage monitoring solution. Submarine is our reference data caching solution which implements and delivers on the cost optimisation recommendations identified by Xmon. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our Belfast office and take ownership of our operational processes. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with major financial institutions, combining data analysis expertise with meaningful client relationships. You’ll play a key role in executing our monthly reporting cycles, validating data accuracy across multiple sources, supporting client implementations, and identifying strategic opportunities for cost optimisation. This role offers significant exposure to enterprise financial services operations and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on client success. Responsibilities Deliver client onboarding services and support for our solutions, Xmon & Submarine Analyse attributes and dimensions contributing to usage/cost issues and suggest appropriate mitigation Deliver Reference Data insights: provide proactive insight into clients cost profile, identifying and explaining potential cost optimisation opportunities Explaining complex reference data vendor pricing models to clients Understanding client requirements and translating them into functional/technical business specification documents to contribute to product roadmap Work with the Submarine development team to translate client requirements into technical solutions. Data processing and data mapping (including writing SQL statements to query the data) Skills And Qualifications Required Third level qualifications (Business, Finance, or IT related fields). 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, preferably in the financial sector. Experience with Reference Data commercial models, analytics and compliance requirements is a plus. Strong analytical and reporting skills, mathematically competent with the ability to solve complex problems and skilled in SQL, Python, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
