The Business Manager for EMEA Fundamental Research will partner with Research leadership to drive business strategy, financial planning, key metrics / MIS, governance standards and operational effectiveness. As a Vice-President, you will collaborate with sector heads, analysts and global stakeholders to align regional priorities with global objectives as well as enhancing governance, optimizing processes and supporting talent development. You will have the opportunity to influence decision-making and contribute to the ongoing success of our Research platform.
Job Responsibilities
Drive regional business strategy and lead strategic initiatives for EMEA Equity and Credit ResearchSupport sector heads and analysts with resourcing, headcount planning and productivity improvementsCoordinate cross-asset and cross-border projects, ensuring alignment with global Research strategyPartner with Finance to manage budgets, forecasts, expenses and headcount planningCollaborate with Planning & Analysis to optimize data collection and enhance MIS reporting and key metricsCo-lead financial and performance reviews with business headsAnalyze research consumption, client engagement and revenue attribution metricsEnsure adherence to regulatory and governance frameworks in partnership with control teamsMaintain strong controls and documentation across the Research infrastructureDrive efficiency, scalability and standardization of Research workflowsPrepare executive presentations and support change management initiativesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related fieldPrevious industry experience supporting Research, Sales or CRM functionsAbility to influence colleagues at all levels of seniorityProven leadership and cross-functional team management skillsStrong communication skills with a proactive approachAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time efficientlyFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and urgent requestsExperience operating in a fast-paced environment and executing tasks promptlyBroad analytical skills to solve complex problems and provide actionable insightsProficiency in synthesizing and manipulating financial and management dataAdvanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro)Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
