We are currently recruiting General Labourers for a busy manufacturing client based in Thornaby. This role supports the production process by assisting with the movement and preparation of component parts ready for assembly, production, or painting.
Main Duties
- Carrying out manual work to support the production process
- Moving and preparing component parts for the next stage of production
- Assisting departments including assembly, paint shop, and dispatch
- Following work instructions and prioritising workloads
- Using overhead pendant or remote-control cranes (experience preferred)
- General manual handling duties
- Maintaining high health & safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets
- Good manual handling ability and dexterity
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role preferred
