Why work for PowerTec?

Do you want to be a member of a growing team of technology enthusiasts delivering cutting-edge solutions for the electricity network transformation to renewables? PowerTec delivers power system strength solutions for industrial and EV charging sites and networks. Our core technologies are the PowerCache® Battery Energy Storage System and the PaDECS® edge processing microgrid control system, which together provide an integrated solution for demanding operating environments. We develop both hardware and software in-house and have delivered around 20 microgrid and energy storage projects up to 5 MVA across Australia. As a scale-up business, we’ve entered a new growth phase to unlock the potential of the maturing industrial microgrid market.

Do you prefer providing comprehensive solutions rather than working with a silo mindset? The team works end-to-end on the development, design, production and commercial management of power products and systems. Accordingly, this hands-on hybrid role assumes a broad range of business administration responsibilities in a small company. Are you ready to join us by providing end-to-end finance and supply chain services? Are you more excited about customer focus than about reporting big numbers? We are a small team working with our customers to lead high potential developments in an evolving field. We apply a flexible and collaborative approach, and we learn from our customers. We make our money from customer project revenue, which means limited resources at times, but we offer one of the best personal growth and learning opportunities in the market.
