Investment Analyst/ Associate, Infrastructure Co-Investments, Primaries and Secondaries

Our client, a leading global investment manager, is looking to hire an Investment Analyst/ Associate to join their Infrastructure Investment team in London. With significant dry powder to deploy, the team focuses on co-investments, secondaries and primaries investments across the infrastructure and energy space. The new hire will play an important role in the full investment cycle, supporting with deal sourcing, investment analysis, deal execution, as well as asset and portfolio management.

THE ROLE:

• Play an active role in the deal execution process across co-investments, GP-led secondaries, LP portfolio secondaries, and primaries infrastructure investments, including due diligence, financial modelling (LBO and DCF), valuation and structuring
• Support with the preparation of investment committee materials
• Undertake portfolio and asset management responsibilities, including quarterly updates, KPI tracking and portfolio analytics

THE CANDIDATE:

• Currently sitting at the Analyst or Senior Analyst level, within an infrastructure, energy or TMT team of a highly-regarded M&A investment bank, or infrastructure private equity fund
• Proven knowledge and experience in energy and infrastructure M&A advisory or direct investments
• Solid financial modelling and analytical skills, including ability to build LBO and DCF models
• A genuine interest in joining a leading, high-performing investment team and building career in infrastructure co-investments, secondaries, and primary fund investments
