Overview

Graduate Civil Engineer: Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer (York)Location: YorkSalary: £25,000 – £30,000Reference: BY181877

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of ground models and contribute to the design of geotechnical structures.
• Work alongside experienced engineers to help design elements such as retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes.
• Support ground movement assessments and collaborate with the wider engineering team on project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (geotechnical focus) or a similar discipline (MSc desirable)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Ability to commute to York
• Full right to work in the UK
• Experience with soil mechanics or geotechnical software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile or WALLAP would be beneficial but is not essential
