Overview
Do you have previous experience in working for a tier 1 company on a major project? Can you show how you’ve ensured quality and compliance on a safety critical project?
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance activities to verify compliance with project specifications and codes of practice.
- Support the resolution of quality-related issues, including non-conformances and corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to embed quality assurance into daily operations.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and contractors to ensure adherence to contractual and statutory obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety outcomes.
Qualifications & experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in quality engineering within highly regulated industries (nuclear, energy, or infrastructure preferred).
Desirable / Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality assurance methodologies, and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
