Overview

Health Records Reception Clerk – Recruitment WHEEL- hidden Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy and supportive team at the Antenatal Outpatients at both Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Royal Gwent Hospital sites.

Shift Pattern

Monday – 8am – 4.30pm (YYF)Tuesday – 8am – 4.30pm (YYF)Thursday – 8.30am – 1pm (RGH)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients in person or via telephone
  • Schedule, amend, and cancel appointments
  • Process referrals, clinic outcomes and update waiting lists
  • Maintain professional communication with patients and staff
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of our reception and booking services

Qualifications / Essential Criteria

  • Meets all essential criteria as per attached job description/person specification

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of Administration Processes
