The Sales Support Executive provides essential administrative, internal and external facing support to the Sales team with the primary aim of new business revenue generation. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in sales, fulfilment & logistics, and commercial operations within a growing fulfilment business.
You will play a key role in keeping sales processes organised, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping move opportunities smoothly from enquiry through to client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Operating from our flagship HQ in Wigan, this diverse and fast-paced role spans a wide range of responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
- Prepare and format quotations using approved pricing templates
- Assist with compiling proposals and presentation documents
- Update and maintain CRM system with accurate lead and opportunity data
- Track sales pipeline progress and update internal reporting sheets
- Prepare weekly sales activity reports
Documentation & Data Support
- Maintain digital records of contracts, pricing agreements, and NDAs
- Ensure all new client documentation is complete before onboarding
- Assist with maintaining rate cards (storage, pick & pack, value-added services)
- Support basic margin calculations under supervision
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with Operations, Finance and Solutions to gather required information for proposals
- A first receiver for inbound sales calls
- Support scheduling of prospect calls
- Supports sales related meetings including preparation capture of outputs and follow up.
- Assist with preparation for webinars. trade shows and networking events
Market & Research Support
- Conduct basic research on prospective target brands
- Assist with building prospect lists
- Support marketing campaigns and follow up calls (under guidance)
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Some experience in administration, customer service, or sales support
- Interest in logistics, ecommerce, or supply chain
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Success looks like
Success means becoming a reliable, detail-focused support to the sales team who ensures quotes, CRM data, and onboarding documentation are accurate, timely, and complete. You will reduce admin burden on the sales team by proactively managing proposals and pipeline updates, understand the basics of fulfilment pricing (storage, pick & pack, carrier costs), and communicate effectively with operations technical and finance to prevent errors before go-live. You will demonstrate growing commercial awareness, take ownership of routine tasks without supervision, and contribute to a smoother, faster sales process while protecting margin and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
