Job Description
- Leading commercial delivery of a £60m New Build Student Accommodation project as the Quantity Surveyor based in Bath.
- Managing subcontractor procurement and packages for the Bath student accommodation development.
- Overseeing cost reporting and forecasting as the Quantity Surveyor supporting the commercial team on the Bath project.
- Driving value engineering and cost control throughout the lifecycle of the New Build Student Accommodation scheme in Bath.
- Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure the Quantity Surveyor role supports successful delivery of the Bath development.
Skills / Qualifications
- Degree Qualified Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Management professional with experience in construction projects.
- Proven experience delivering New Build projects as a Quantity Surveyor within the Bath, Somerset or wider South West region.
- Strong commercial management and subcontractor procurement skills gained as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction schemes.
- Experience working for a Main Contractor in a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Surveyor role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as a Quantity Surveyor supporting project delivery in Bath.
