Role: Principal Business Analyst Location: Oldham (Hybrid) Proud to be partnered with a multi-award winning Housing Association who is now looking got a Principal BA to to lead and continuously develop the Business Analysis function, ensuring high-quality, consistent and user-focused analysis that supports organisational priorities and service improvement. The role will foster strong collaboration across operational, digital and corporate teams to enable effective, evidence-based decision making and successful delivery of change initiatives.
Provide strategic leadership to the Business Analysis function, embedding best practice in requirements management, service design and process improvement. Work collaboratively with service leads, digital teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, deliverable requirements. Lead early-stage scoping, options appraisal and development of business cases to inform investment decisions and ensure value for money. Champion structured approaches to change, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and transformation priorities. Provide professional leadership, coaching and quality assurance to Business Analysts across the portfolio. Ensure effective resource planning and stewardship of public funds. Stay informed of evolving best practice in business analysis, digital delivery and public service transformation.
Improved and standardised processes that enhance service delivery and user experience. A high-performing, collaborative Business Analysis function that supports organisational transformation.
Significant experience in a senior Business Analysis leadership role. Strong experience in business case development, options appraisal and benefits realisation. Experience working across multidisciplinary teams in Agile and/or traditional delivery models. Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) and relevant professional Business Analysis qualification.
Experience supporting digital transformation or cloud adoption initiatives. Accountable for the effective delivery and continuous development of the Business Analysis function.
