Registered Care Home Manager, Liverpool

Salary: Competitive (DOE) Full-time/permanent

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Attollo People are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Unity Homes for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential care home in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while driving strong operational performance, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As the Registered Manager , you will take full responsibility for the leadership and management of the residential care home, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

You will work closely with the Regional Manager and wider leadership team to ensure the home operates effectively, achieves strong occupancy levels, and delivers an outstanding experience for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the care home

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards

Maintain a safe, supportive, and person-centred care environment

Lead, develop, and support a multidisciplinary care team

Manage staffing levels, rotas, and workforce planning

Monitor and improve service quality through audits and governance processes

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders

Support occupancy growth through enquiry management and community engagement

Manage the home’s operational budget and resources

Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control requirements are met

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential

  • Experience managing a CQC-registered residential care home
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage operational performance and drive continuous improvement

Desirable

  • Experience in improving occupancy levels
  • Experience leading service improvement or turnaround projects
  • Health & safety or fire safety training (IOSH / NEBOSH or similar)
