A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Fire Engineer to join their growing fire engineering team.

The successful Principal Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire safety strategies and technical fire engineering advice across projects from early design stages through to completion.
The Principal Fire Engineer’s Role
- Delivering fire engineering advice across a wide range of building projects
- Developing and reviewing fire strategies in line with UK regulations and guidance
- Undertaking fire, smoke and evacuation modelling using specialist software
- Attending client, design team and project meetings
- Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and construction professionals
- Supporting project delivery across multiple sectors within the built environment
The Principal Fire Engineer
- Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Building Services, Architecture or similar
- Experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of UK fire regulations and design guidance
- Experience with fire modelling or analysis tools
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage technical deliverables and project deadlines
