Senior Linux Engineer / Senior Linux Systems Administrator – City of London (hybrid) – Linux, VMware, Bash Scripting – £80,000 – £100,000

A forward-thinking financial firm based in the City of London is currently looking to hire a talented Senior Linux Engineer / Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join their existing team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the security, stability and performance of my client’s mission-critical Linux estate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security, stability and performance of the mission-critical Linux estate.
• Work with Linux engineering tasks and contribute to design and implementation as part of the team.
• Utilise VMware technology and scripting (Bash) to support automation and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Background in Linux Engineering
• VMware
• Bash Scripting
