Job Description
We are seeking a Project Engineer who will play a key role in delivering high quality, technically robust projects to our customers. You will be accountable for:
- Managing and controlling project budgets
- Upholding technical excellence in all aspects of work

- Applying strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Key Duties
- Ensure the smooth and accurate installation of equipment into our accounts and all post project documentation is completed
- Regular communication with both the internal and external sales team to ensure all technical aspects are captured across all schemes
- Attending site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and post project completion
- Evaluating, organising and prioritising work within the project schedule
- Supporting the Bender UK Sales Team with technical advice and information by email, telephone or in person if a site visit is required
- Regular communication with the Head Office in Germany, first and second level support will be required.
- In addition, constant technical communication with all parties in the Bender supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard
- Understanding of the company CRM system essential
- Using the company CRM system to deliver projects to BUK standards • Producing technical drawings and information critical to the smooth running of BUK projects
- Producing of RAMS essential to the site work for BUK
Qualifications
- Bender Portfolio knowledge would be advantageous
- A background in Electrical Engineering
- NVQ3, ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering with project management experience
- Or project management qualification with electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge of medical clinical equipment would be advantageous
- DBS check will be required
- Working knowledge of electrical solutions from sectors including building management systems, UPS, fire and security systems, access control, electrical drives, switchgear and energy management.
- Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to manage a defined sales territory effectively.
Experience
- Experience of using Autocad drawing packages
- Experience in working with Design and/or Quality teams would be advantageous
- Experience in using Microsoft 365 office packages
- Experience using CRM’s, preferably Salesforce

Salary and Benefits
Salary: Up to £47,000 depending on experience
