Construction Inspection Officer

You will conduct site inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with environmental and construction standards, coordinate with site personnel, and prepare detailed reports to support workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and ad-hoc site inspections to assess compliance with environmental control measures (ECM) and drainage based on approved plans
• Retrieve and review relevant project documents from the system before inspections to ensure thorough preparation
• Perform source tracing and investigation tasks to identify causes of non-compliance or issues on site
• Coordinate with site personnel to obtain accurate and timely information during inspections
• Identify and immediately report any non-compliance or unauthorized activities found during site visits
• Upload inspection findings and prepare clear, detailed reports through the system within required timeframes
• Travel daily between sites to perform inspections and investigations efficiently

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess at least a Higher NITEC certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, IT, or related fields
• Ability to travel daily between multiple site locations
