Area Sales Manager – Roofing & Waterproofing (Refurbishment)

A leading manufacturer within the roofing, waterproofing and building envelope sector is looking to appoint an experienced Area Sales Manager to focus on refurbishment roofing projects within a well-established territory generating £1.5m–£2m turnover.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong flat roofing knowledge and established industry relationships to join a globally recognised manufacturer with a strong technical reputation and high-performance product portfolio.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving specifications and sales of roofing and waterproofing systems on refurbishment projects.
Products include:
Liquid waterproofing systems
Structural waterproofing solutions
Roofing membranes
Insulation products (PIR, XPS and mineral wool)
You will work closely with roofing contractors, main contractors, surveyors and local authorities, securing product specifications and supporting projects from initial survey through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Secure product specifications on refurbishment projects
Build and manage relationships with roofing contractors, main contractors and surveyors
Conduct site surveys and condition reports
Provide technical recommendations for roof refurbishment
Support contractors throughout project delivery
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Manage and grow an established territory
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience within the flat roofing sector
Has sold roofing systems into refurbishment projects
Has strong relationships with roofing contractors and surveyors
Comes from a roofing manufacturer or building envelope competitor
Is commercially driven and technically confident on site
Candidates from pure insulation backgrounds without roofing experience will not be considered.
