Overview
Trainee Radio Engineer. Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 + Training + Progression + Hybrid working + Overtime + Van / Fuel Card.
Location: Avonmouth (commutable from Bristol, Newport, Weston-super-Mare, Chippenham, Bath, Stroud, Gloucester, Taunton, Bridgwater).
The company are a leading provider of IT/ Communications systems to a variety of blue chip clients. They are expanding their engineering team and offer a clear development plan to increase technical ability with full multi-skilled training on a range of systems.
This is a highly varied field/workshop role where you will perform a mix of customer and workshop tasks, ranging from component level radio repairs through to electronic/IT installations.
This role would suit an aspiring hands-on engineer seeking a stable, full-time permanent role with a company known for investing in staff.
Role details: repair, maintenance and installation of radio and electronic equipment. Days-based role (Monday – Friday). Hybrid working (workshop and field-based).
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintenance and installation of radio and electronic equipment.
- Work across both workshop and customer sites as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Engage in a mix of component-level radio repairs and IT/electronic installations.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- Radio, Telecommunications, IT or Electronics background.
- Full UK driving license.
- Commutable to Bristol.
