Overview
We are working with an established manufacturing business and they are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join the business ASAP. This is an office-based role – Monday to Friday (flexible working times).
Responsibilities
- Reporting into the HR Director and providing support to c100 employees, the focus of the role is to assist with the delivery of a full range of Human Resources services. This will include supporting with employee relations, promoting best practices in HR management, recruitment, L&D and all areas of operational generalist HR.
- Reporting into the HR Director and acting as the main point of contact for all areas of HR for the site in a stand-alone capacity.
- Providing HR support to c100 employees 70% blue collar and 30% white collar.
- Support with ER cases, including sickness, lateness, capability, disciplinary, grievances and investigations.
- Providing HR advisory, guidance and coaching to managers on HR matters, and ensuring that they are dealt with effectively.
- Be the point of contact for HR queries, and provide advice and support to line managers on a wide range of people matters.
- Ensure that HR policies, policies and HR best practice are adhered to across the business.
- Recruitment & Onboarding, which will include overseeing the hiring processes, job adverts, interviews, and onboarding procedures.
- Provide HR advice in relation to policy, best practice and process for employee relation matters, performance management, and disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Produce HR and KPI reports for Directors.
- HR admin support for the Human Resources function, by producing letters, contracts of employment, induction packs, etc.
- Assist with all training & development, including designing and implementation of staff training programmes and development plans.
- For this role candidates will need to have exposure within a busy HR team at this level and be passionate about a career in HR.
- A confident and outgoing approach is required, with excellent communication and advisory skills is required for this role. Proven generalist HR experience is essential, with experience of working in a blue- and white-collar environment.

Qualifications
- Ideally CIPD Qualified Level 5 (although experience is more essential).
