Agricultural Engineer

Overview

W&M Agricultural Engineering Ltd is an agricultural sales and repair company covering Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales, established in 2003. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the workshop based at Oswestry, Shropshire.

Job Type – Full Time, PermanentWorking days – Monday to Friday

Day to day roles

• Servicing
• Pre-delivery inspections
• Fault diagnosis and repairs
• Equipment maintenance
• Occasionally taking technical queries from customers
• Completes all reports and administration required in a timely manner
• Maintains clear working environment and assists with overall workshop organisation

The ideal candidate

• Must have previous experience and knowledge of working and repairing agricultural machinery, plant or similar for at least 1 year
• Computer literate
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team and be confident to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence

The successful applicant will be equipped with a company vehicle, the latest diagnostic equipment and fully trained by manufacturers. The successful candidate will receive a company pension, health plan and 22 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.
