Freight Sales Executive

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Freight Sales and Development Executive to join our client’s established business in the Tilbury area.

As a Sales and Development Executive you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing new business opportunities, leveraging your own leads and those provided by the Sales and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Developing new sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, road freight for both imports and exports
• Preparing accurate quotations ensuring the inclusion of all relevant terms and clauses

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 year’s experience in freight sales (sea, air and road) within a freight forwarding environment
• A proven track record in sales and business development
• Strong attention to detail
• A collaborative and dynamic team spirit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Packages
• Comprehensive knowledge of the global freight industry

Hours

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
