Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting 2 x Maintenance Technicians to join a growing team based at a Train Depot in Derby. This is a great opportunity for skilled technicians looking for rolling hours with the option for extra overtime.

Working Hours:

• 06:30 – 13:30
• 13:30 – 21:30

Pay Rates: £22 p/h LTD/UMBRELLA or £18-19.50 p/h PAYE

Full-time role with additional hours available.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment and facilities
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical faults
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and operations team
• Working on a train depot or similar advantageous

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer or similar role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Must have NVQ Level 3 or similar.
