OverviewWe are working with a leading global brand in their sector who are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a well-established, fast-paced organisation while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model based in Hemel Hempstead.
The RoleReporting into senior finance leadership, the Senior Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and ensuring strong financial control across the business.
Key Responsibilities* Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes* Partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and analysis* Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities* Monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement* Supporting financial controls, compliance, and process improvements* Preparing financial reports and presentations for senior stakeholders* Providing ad hoc analysis and support on key finance projects
About You* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience* Strong experience in management accounting and financial analysis* Excellent Excel and financial systems skills* Strong communication skills with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders* Highly organised with strong attention to detail* Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
