Job Description:
We are hiring an AI Engineer to build LLM-powered tools, AI agents, and generative AI applications directly used by portfolio managers and investment teams at a top-tier global hedge fund. This is a rare opportunity to combine cutting-edge AI engineering with real-world financial impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, prototype, and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) applications for investment workflows
- Build AI copilots, chat agents, and workflow automation tools
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for internal data access
- Integrate AI solutions with databases, APIs, and data platforms
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, and domain experts to identify high-value AI use cases
- Deliver scalable AI systems used across the investment lifecycle
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and AI agents
- Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex
- Experience with vector databases/vector stores and LLM API integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Experience building RAG pipelines and LLM-powered applications
- Hedge fund or financial services experience is a plus
