This Claims Handler role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the energy industry and make a real impact. The Role As a Claims Handler, you’ll manage a caseload of claims linked to damage to the network and oversee incoming claims from other utility companies. You’ll work to resolve cases efficiently, handle disputes, and keep things moving. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good time management, will be key to your success in this Claims Handler position.Pay: £12.61phHours: 09.00am – 5:00pmWorking Week: Mon-Thrs | 4.30pm finish Fridays Key Responsibilities:Managing a caseload of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+Making sure claims are resolved on time and within agreed authority levelsBuilding and maintaining customer relationships and managing outstanding costsUsing IT systems such as Solcase, GIS, EAM, Spatial, OMS, Oracle, and Microsoft OfficeApplying relevant legislation and guidance when handling claimsHandling technical queries and disputes in a professional wayIdentifying problem claims and deciding the best next stepsUnderstanding repair costs and associated overheadsDelivering excellent customer service at all timesSupporting the wider claims and admin teamAttending meetings with third parties to resolve liability and cost issuesKey Skills & Competencies:Planning and organisingClear written and spoken communicationTeamworkInterpreting informationDecision-makingStrong customer serviceWhat in it for you?25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysEarly finish on a FridayAgile working optionsFree on-site parkingDiscounts on tourist attraction tickets and vouchersCareer progression opportunitiesEssential Experience & Qualifications:Minimum of 2 A Levels (Grade C or above), NVQ Level 3, or ONC in Business ManagementGood knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience working as part of a teamStrong communication skillsProven customer service experienceDesirable:Previous experience in claims, insurance, or legal-related rolesIf you’re organised, confident speaking to people, and ready to take the next step as a Claims Handler, apply today….
