We are currently seeking a skilled HIAB Driver to join our team for an ongoing contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations using a flatbed lorry with HIAB
£17.50 per hour PAYE plus O/T available.
Duties:– Safely drive a HIAB lorry to transport goods and materials to designated locations– Load and unload cargo as required– Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks– Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times– Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Skills:– Proficient in driving commercial vehicles, particularly HIAB lorries– Excellent knowledge of delivery driver protocols and procedures– Strong understanding of road safety regulations– Ability to handle physical work including loading and unloading cargo– Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
Requirements:– Valid commercial driving licence (Category C+E)
-HIAB Licence & Experience– Prior experience as a class 1 HIAB delivery driver
