Compliance Manager

Job Description

We are working with a Significant European Insurance firm that is rapidly expanding it's enterprise, and who are looking for a talented Compliance Generalist to join their team. This is an exciting role that allows for that step up into management alongside career growth and development in the area of Compliance, while being instrumental in influencing a culture of compliance across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance in the Company's integration into the European market, leading the process from the first due diligence phase to the integration, implementation, and monitoring phases.
• Handling highly confidential information and managing relationships with Group and local owners involved as well as with external advisors
• Supporting and monitoring Business Units in adopting compliance methodology and tools, in the process of monitoring and analysing applicable regulations, and in drafting ad hoc assessments when necessary to evaluate compliance and maturity.

Key Requirements:

• A strong understanding of the key compliance topics and of the current and emerging compliance risks and practical experience of managing an effective compliance programme.
• Proven experience implementing, and supporting long term strategic compliance initiatives .
• Ability to working in a generalist capacity, spinning lots of different plates, and able to take on new topics.
