Head of Real Estate Asset Management

A well-capitalised investment firm is seeking a Head of Real Estate Asset Management to lead the oversight and strategic management of a diversified real assets portfolio. The position will be responsible for driving asset performance, implementing portfolio strategy, and coordinating with internal investment teams to support value creation across the platform.

This role offers the opportunity to shape asset-level initiatives, guide portfolio strategy, and contribute to investment decision-making within a dynamic institutional investment environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic management and performance oversight of a diversified real estate portfolio
• Develop and execute asset-level business plans to enhance value and optimise returns
• Oversee portfolio performance monitoring, including income, capital expenditure, and return metrics
• Provide strategic input on acquisitions, disposals, and major asset initiatives
• Coordinate with internal investment, finance, and operations teams to support portfolio objectives
• Manage relationships with external operating partners, advisors, and service providers
• Prepare and present clear investment and asset performance materials for senior management
• Identify opportunities for asset repositioning, operational improvements, and portfolio optimisation

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in real estate asset management, investment, or related leadership roles
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex real estate portfolios and drive asset performance
• Strong financial and strategic analytical capabilities
• Experience working with institutional investors or investment platforms
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous
