Retail Shift Manager
Role: Retail Shift Manager at Lidl in Greater Manchester. You will help maintain high standards, motivate the team, and take responsibility for the shop floor in a fast-paced environment. You will have opportunities to lead and develop in your career at Lidl.
What you’ll do
- Motivate and support your team, learning from Leadership and Company Principles
- Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
- Create an environment where colleagues can succeed alongside you
- Manage operations within the store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
- Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly
- Provide customers with the best possible experience on every visit
What you’ll need
- Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team
- Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to stay calm in any situation
- Passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team
- Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations
