My client is a successful underwriting agency with over a decades experience of supplying fleet insurance to companies up and down the UK. From their HQ in London and small branch network they use a wide range of brokers to offer a personal, tailored service to meet the needs of Hauliers, Couriers, Standard and Non-Standard fleets. The business now seeks to recruit an experiencedMotor Damage & Injury Claims Handler to join their growing team. Reporting to the Claims Manager, youll play a key role in managing claims from initial notification through to settlement, delivering outstanding service to brokers and customers along the way. Key Responsibilities – Manage motor damage and injury claims from first notification through to final settlement. – Liaise with brokers, customers and third parties to establish claim circumstances and progress claims efficiently. – Set and maintain accurate claim reserves. – Provide regular updates to brokers and third parties throughout the claims lifecycle. – Deliver excellent customer service while building strong broker relationships. Skills & Experience – Ideally 2+ years claims handling experience. – Strong customer service and communication skills. – High attention to detail. – Effective negotiation skills. – Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
