What the day will look like
In this role, youu2019ll act as a trusted adviser to Midu2011Market businesses across the UK, working closely with owners, MDs and FDs to understand their risks and deliver tailored insurance and risk management solutions. Youu2019ll combine strong client relationships with commercial drive, using the full breadth of Aonu2019s capabilities to help clients protect, grow and futureu2011proof their businesses u2014 while building a profitable and sustainable portfolio of your own. Responsibilities will include:
Building trusted relationships with business owners and senior decisionu2011makers, acting as their primary risk and insurance adviser
Designing and delivering bespoke insurance programmes, supported by proactive risk management and claims advocacy
Identifying new business opportunities, referrals and crossu2011sell solutions through Delivering Aon United
Owning and developing a strong pipeline of new and existing opportunities to drive revenue growth
Collaborating with specialist teams across Aon to deliver joinedu2011up, highu2011quality client solutions
Managing your client portfolio in line with Aonu2019s risk, compliance and governance frameworks

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Proven client relationship experience in the insurance industry, with experience in the core lines of commercial risks is essential.
Experience dealing with Mid-market commercial and corporate insurance risks is desirable.
Commercial understanding of business i.e. market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors and risks, etc.
A growth mindset with an eye for new business opportunites
An effective communicator and presenter.
Client focused with a consultative approach and dedication to excellence in the provision of client service.
