As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll take complex technical requirements and turn them into engineered valve solutions used across critical power, energy and industrial systems. This role puts you right at the centre of the process – designing high-performance control and isolation valves, supporting manufacturing and testing teams, and helping deliver products that meet demanding technical and regulatory standards.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Senior Design Engineer
- Interpreting technical specifications to develop valve designs that meet contractual and operational requirements
- Performing calculations and selecting suitable materials for valve components
- Producing bills of materials, general arrangement drawings and detailed part definitions
- Collaborating with procurement, assembly, inspection and testing teams to support product delivery
- Providing technical input for tenders and supporting sales with engineering expertise
- Contributing to new product development and adoption of emerging technologies
What you’ll bring to the table as a Senior Design Engineer
- Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent technical background
- Previous experience within mechanical or valve design engineering
- Working knowledge of engineering design standards such as API or ASME
- Understanding of pressure equipment regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience using CAD systems such as Solid Edge and engineering design tools
- Working hours – Full-time, Monday to Friday
