Lead Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to support the delivery of a high-impact government programme focused on data-driven risk management and automation. This role will lead product strategy and delivery for initiatives aimed at improving how risk is identified, assessed, and managed through data analysis, automation, and emerging AI capabilities.

You will work at the intersection of policy, data, and technology, helping government teams modernise legacy processes by introducing scalable, automated solutions. This role requires strong experience working in government environments, with an understanding of digital service standards and agile delivery within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy and roadmap for platforms focused on risk analysis, data automation, and intelligent decision-making
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across systems using data pipelines, analytics, and AI-driven tools
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and policy teams to design solutions that improve how risk is detected and managed
• Translate complex operational and regulatory requirements into clear product outcomes
• Use data analysis and insights to prioritise product decisions and measure impact
• Drive the development of tools and services that support risk modelling, monitoring, and reporting
• Champion a data-led approach to product management, ensuring evidence informs strategy and delivery
• Lead discovery and experimentation to test hypotheses and validate product direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment
• Engage with senior stakeholders across government to align product goals with policy and operational objectives
• Ensure products align with GOV digital standards and service design principles
