Duties as Business Studies Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
- Create a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning
- Maintain accurate records and participate in school-wide initiatives
- Uphold safeguarding standards and ensure the welfare of all pupils
Ideal Business Studies Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire a love of Business Studies
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Commitment to professional development and collaborative working
- A proactive approach to promoting pupil progress and achievement
