We’re currently looking for a Workshop Support Engineer to join our Glasgow depot.
The role
- Support engineers in the workshop by maintaining a safe, tidy and well‑organised working environment.
- Carry out PAT testing on chargers, tools and other electrical equipment.
- Complete basic servicing tasks and routine equipment inspections.
- Wash and prepare access equipment before repair or maintenance work begins.
- Load and unload parts and equipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate and coordinating with the Depot Manager.
- Collect and deliver parts to suppliers, engineers and subcontractors as required.
What will help you to excel in this role
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to daily tasks.
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Friendly, team‑focused attitude with good customer service skills.
