We’re currently looking for a Workshop Support Engineer to join our Glasgow depot.

The role

  • Support engineers in the workshop by maintaining a safe, tidy and well‑organised working environment.
  • Carry out PAT testing on chargers, tools and other electrical equipment.
  • Complete basic servicing tasks and routine equipment inspections.
  • Wash and prepare access equipment before repair or maintenance work begins.
  • Load and unload parts and equipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate and coordinating with the Depot Manager.
  • Collect and deliver parts to suppliers, engineers and subcontractors as required.

What will help you to excel in this role

  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to daily tasks.
  • Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Friendly, team‑focused attitude with good customer service skills.
