This will involve training in the control and operation of the SP Energy Networks Distribution electrical networks under normal, outage and fault situations. Once fully trained & authorised as a Control Engineer you will have the opportunity to join the 24/7 Control room team. you will follow a training programme specifically designed to develop the skills Developing customer service and operational liaison skills with internal/external third parties for all network activities. Gaining a detailed knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices. Ability to form strong working relationships across all EN business areas and at all levels Ability in dealing with major customers Ability to co-ordinate a broad range of complex tasks and requirements from different business areas and devise solutions.Takes responsibility and accountability for tasks and activities and contributes to the achievement of team goals by providing support, advice, encouragement and clear direction and coaching when appropriate.Ability to define and document new processes for key strategic changes within the Control Room.**To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate as a minimum’:**HNC with relevant experience or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering would be preferableDetailed distribution and/or network knowledge essential Hands on Operational experience required, Authorised to a minimum of APSP at LV.Excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels. other benefits.
