Overview

Our client, a rapidly developing provider of funding solutions to businesses requires an experienced business development professional to join their team covering the Yorkshire & North East region.

Your primary responsibility will be to proactively seek and develop new clients and revenue for the company and effectively convert business lending opportunities secured against a variety of asset groups, including property and/or receivables.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an extensive network of introductory sources including finance brokers, banks, accountants and solicitors throughout your designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek and develop new clients and revenue for the company.
  • Effectively convert business lending opportunities secured against asset groups, including property and/or receivables.
  • Develop and maintain an extensive network of introductory sources including finance brokers, banks, accountants and solicitors in the designated territory.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates an exceptional work ethic with a proven track record of high achievement within this or a related field.
  • Desires to succeed in a fast-paced transactional sales environment and acts as an ambassador for the brand.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive technical and credit risk skills in structuring and positioning deals across the lending mandate.
  • Has a thorough understanding of accounting principles and their practical application.
