The Team
Freeths LLP Planning and Environment Group is a truly multidisciplinary team of 32 professionals, including planning lawyers, environmental lawyers, advocates and planning consultants. The Group operates across all development sectors and is recognised for its depth of knowledge, breadth of experience, and for providing clear, pragmatic and commercial advice and support in navigating the planning process – from the inception of a proposal through to delivery – in order to secure optimal outcomes for our clients.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate planning lawyer to join our friendly, supportive and ambitious team.
Responsibilities
- Section 106 agreements
- Highways and other statutory agreements
- Advising on planning, highways and associated law
- Due diligence for property and corporate transactions
- Contentious planning work such as Planning Inquiries/hearings and Court challenges/Judicial Reviews
- Experience on large regeneration schemes is particularly desirable
Qualifications
Qualified Senior Associate Planning Solicitor, ideally 4‑8 years PQE, with relevant experience in the areas listed above.
