  • Overseeing conflicts searches and exercising judgement in determining escalation
  • Liaising directly with partners to obtain complete and accurate instructions, ensuring that conflict analysis is based on reliable information
  • Overseeing and, where required, conduct client due diligence and AML risk assessments in line with firm policy and regulatory requirements
  • Reviewing AML documentation and risk assessments prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Working closely with partners and support teams to resolve queries efficiently and avoid delays in matter opening
  • Providing clear and practical guidance on intake procedures, ensuring expectations are managed from the outset.
  • Explaining team policies, practices and procedures to internal stakeholders in a clear and practical manner
  • Contributing to departmental projects and policy updates

Suitable applicants will have gained at least three years of relevant experience as a manager, team leader, or supervisor within a new business intake, conflicts or compliance function, ideally within an international law firm.

Familiarity with compliance screening resources and a broad operational knowledge of conflicts, AML and new business intake processes are required in order to be considered.

We are seeking applicants with exemplary organisation, judgement and interpersonal skills and a commitment to consistent process execution.

The firm are offering a highly competitive salary and benefits package and 3:2 hybrid working arrangements are in place. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior compliance professional to join a thriving and expanding team within a leading international law firm environment.

Please do not delay in applying as the interview process will be commencing asap. Successful applicants will be contacted by US Law Support and provided with full details.
