Programme Manager

My client is at the beginning of a major 3‑year public-sector transformation programme and is looking for a Programme Manager to join at the start and help shape everything from day one.

This is an incredible opportunity to be part of the foundation of a large‑scale, high‑impact digital transformation, working closely with experienced leaders and a blended delivery team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• ➡️ Coordinating multi‑million‑pound programme activity
• ➡️Managing RAID, reporting, governance and day‑to‑day progress
• ➡️Supporting a blended client/consultancy team
• ➡️Working closely with a Programme Lead and engagement leadership
• ➡️Driving discovery → alpha → beta phases across key service areas

What We’re Looking For

• ✔️ Proven experience delivering public sector digital programmes
• ✔️ Strong understanding of the GDS lifecycle
• ✔️ Have experience managing £20–50m programme budgets
• ✔️Proactive, structured, organised delivery style
• ✔️SC‑clearable (must have lived in the UK 5+ years)

Location & Working Pattern

Hybrid – Liverpool (3 days/week initially)

Occasional travel to London

Salary

Around £80k–£85k
