Job Description:We are currently recruiting for a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in schools across the Stechford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support students with ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred)
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) desirable
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
