We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager or Senior/Lead Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in their career to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing organisation.to join an aerospace manufacturing business, reporting into the General Manager.
You’ll lead the Inspection Team and take ownership of the QMS, ensuring compliance and right-first-time delivery across the manufacturing process.Key responsibilities
– Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (AS9100 / ISO 9100)– Act as Management Representative for all quality matters– Lead and develop the Inspection Team (workload, performance, training)– Oversee inspection & verification at all stages of manufacture– Own Calibration, Testing, Qualification and associated approvals– Create/approve FAIR / LAIR documentation (VisualFAIR experience ideal)– Plan and conduct internal/external audits (AS9100 / ISO 9100)– Support continuous improvement and participate in management reviews
What we’re looking for –– Strong aerospace quality background (essential)– Recent, hands-on FAIR/LAIR experience– Confident with engineering drawings & specifications– Audit capability (internal/external)– OASIS experience (preferred)– Strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel/IT skills
