The Opportunity
KO2’s client is an established and growing engineering business entering a major phase of manufacturing transformation.
They are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the production function, with a clear pathway to Production Director within 12 months.
This is a hands-on role with real influence-ideal for someone who wants to step up, drive change, and progress into senior leadership.
The Role
You’ll lead a production reset, focusing on quality, process, and performance:
- Own end-to-end production operations
- Implement structured processes and quality controls
- Introduce FTPR (First Time Pass Rate) and production metrics
- Develop in-process and end-of-line testing systems
- Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Build a high-performance, accountable team
About You
- Strong background in production engineering
- Electro-mechanical experience essential
- Proven experience in test, quality, and process improvement
- Comfortable with data, systems, and digital tools
- Ambitious, hands-on, and driven to progress
Progression
This role is designed as a Director pathway:
- Start as Production Manager (Delegate Director level)
- Promotion to Production Director within 12 months
- Enhanced package including bonus and potential equity (EMI)
