Cloud and DevOps Engineer

A leading European financial markets technology firm is looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join its growing engineering team in London.

You’ll work within a small, highly skilled DevOps team responsible for building and scaling hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure that powers high-performance, low-latency trading systems across European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and automate hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionise new technologies
• Support and scale Linux-based environments and automated infrastructure
• Contribute to architecture and reliability improvements across the platform
• Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP environments
• DevOps tooling including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring
• Linux administration (RedHat/CentOS or similar)
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs)
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
• Work on high-performance trading infrastructure
