The Role An established and growing consultancy is seeking an Associate Director – Project Management to join its teams in Birmingham or London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to take a leading role in delivering a range of construction projects across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while managing client relationships and supporting business growth.
You will play a key role in leading project teams, managing complexity and contributing to the continued success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of projects from inception through to completion
- Taking accountability for project performance across cost, programme and quality
- Managing multiple projects of varying complexity
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coordinating and leading multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with internal processes and quality standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks across projects
- Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities
- Promoting a collaborative and high-performing team culture
The Candidate Applicants will be able to demonstrate
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a relevant construction or project management discipline
- Membership, or working towards membership, of a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, APM or equivalent)
- Proven experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver consistent results
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
