Forklift Operative/Porter

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative/Porter for our corporate client based in Debden, Essex.

Duties will include but are not limited to: –

• Receiving incoming mail & deliveries
• Loading bay & forklift duties
• Overseeing outgoing mail & goods
• Digitalising all incoming & outgoing mail
• Internal mail distribution
• X-Ray scanning
• Franking mail
• General Porting duties – i.e. preparing rooms for meetings, internal moves.

Essential skills & experience

• Current counterbalance – this MUST be either RTITB or ITSSAR, we cannot accept in-house licences.
• Excellent communication skills
• Distribution/logistics experience
• Office skills, competent in all Microsoft packages
• Customer services experience.
• Excellent telephone manner and be well presented.
• Experience of working in a high-pressure corporate environment
• Customer focused
• People skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently via telephone, email, and face to face.
• Willing and able to undertake security vetting – BPSS & SC clearances.
